ANTHIA KOULLOUROS

BHSC ND DBM DH MATMS
NATUROPATH, HERBALIST, APOTHECARIUS
AUTHOR - I AM FOOD EATING YOUR WAY TO HEALTH

Her mission is simple -
To provide honest, natural and considerate remedies that don’t hurt the earth.
To make healthy living the new normal – and prove it can be beautiful and delicious, too.
To inspire the words O! It’s that easy?

To bring good health to the world, starting with you.

A well steeped history - Anthia Koullouros has a Bachelor of Health Science, Diplomaof Botanical Medicine, Diploma of Homoeopathy, Diploma of Naturopathy. She began consulting as a Naturopath in 1994 and after ten years of clinical experience, I opened Ovvio The Organic Health & Lifestyle Store and Naturopathic Clinic - a quaint Paddington terrace reminiscent of old-fashioned apothecaries and teahouses. From this space, she was inspired to create her own brand of premium, certified organic teas, tisanes, herbs & spices and elixirs.

Ovvio Organics has become Australia's premium, wellness, certified organic tea and naturopathic health company. Every offering contains only the finest, premium, organic ingredients made with love and respect for humankind, flora and fauna. Every mouthful offers a pure and delicious remedy for health and happiness. Ovvio has won 10 Golden Leaf Tea Awards between 2015-2018.

Anthia writes for women’s lifestyle titles such as Vogue, Wellbeing and across SMH.com.au, Australian Financial Review, Organic Gardening, Women’s Fitness, Delicious, Radiance, ninemsn Kitchen, The Juice Daily, The Collective Hub, Green + Simple, I Quit Sugar, Collective Hub, Aroma Culture, rescu.com.au and is a regular contributor to Country Style Magazine.

In 2014 Anthia published her first book with Lantern Penguin called I Am Food – Eating Your Way To Health.

She has appeared on The Paleo Way with Pete Evans, Sunrise and the Today TV shows as well as a regular radio contributor with Ed Phillips sharing health expertise and regularly speaks at leading industry and corporate events as well as conduct workshops with One&Only Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort, Sydney Living Museums, McGrath Real Estate, Evalesco, Frost Collective, MSA, Vive Cooking School, Garvan Institute, Sydney Tea Festival, Precision Sourcing, Glenmore House and Dexus.

Anthia was a finalist for Practitioner of the Year by Nature & Health and ATMS in 2018 and received a Highly Commended Award.

Today, Anthia is intent on bringing good health to the world. Proving that great nutrition and lifestyle can be a simple fact of life – embedded in the everyday. That health food is just food grown well – with care for the soil, season, region, people and animals involved. That cooking for taste and tradition boosts nutritional value. That nature heals and herbs are our medicinal allies. That organic should be the norm, and personal products should not be riddled with potentially harmful chemicals. That tea is a simple, nourishing elixir that everyone can enjoy.

“It is my passion to educate and inspire as many people as possible to choose products and take actions that add health, happiness, peace, love, beauty and truth to their lives and the lives of others. To achieve this, I help people sort through their clutter and get clear about why they are feeling the way they are and help them overcome the confusion that many people experience when it comes to health, lifestyle and nutrition. Education is the key, debunking myths and offering clear and simple, no-nonsense, fad-free, sustainable solutions to take care of their minds and bodies. Every day I see clients to help them transition from a state of ill health to one of health (remove vitality) and wellbeing. I also teach clients who are already in good health how to stay healthy. This is not only my job, but my calling, and I feel blessed every day to share the gift of good health”.
